Thank you to all of the runners who took part in the Jigsaw Run this morning.
We had perfect weather conditions for a fast 10k at Dunsfold Park, and lots of happy children receiving their medals at the end of the 3k family fun run.
This afternoon we will start collating the results and aim to get these published here as soon as possible. Do check back again for updates or follow our Twitter feed @runjigsaw.
The event this year was more than double the size of our first charity race in 2012. With a bigger event comes more logistical challenges.
We are keen to learn from the experience of the Jigsaw Run this year and make the event even better in 2014, when we will be back with an improved and much bigger race.
As a keen runner myself, I know how important it is that these events run smoothly. Whilst there is no such thing as a perfect event, we are striving to constantly improve and make sure all runners have a great experience on the day.
If you have any feedback, no matter how trivial it might seem, please do let me know. You can drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give me a call at the office this week on 01483 274566.
I just want to say a big thank you to all of the volunteers who gave up their Sunday morning to make the event possible. Marshals and other volunteers are always the unsung heroes at these events.
Also, a big thank you to Sussex Sports Photography (you will be able to order your professional race photographs here shortly), St John Ambulance, Moonshot Coffee, Laura Bartlett, Rachel Morris and Kim Robson for your kind support.
